Landscape and wildlife artist, Misun Holdorf, was born in Seoul, Korea and moved to the beautiful Island of Guam as a teenager, where she found her first tropical inspiration for her paintings. She took art classes, flew the world as an airline employee, and lived in many different cities and islands. From then on, she was influenced in many ways to create and express her passion on canvases. Misun also expresses her feelings with vibrant color and natural texture. She holds impressionistic excitement with her palette knives and oil painting.
Misun studied art in Korea, Guam, and Los Angeles, while working and traveling for an airline, which provided broad perspective and inspiration for the natural world that she paints today. Her colorful tree paths are the paths she wants to take in her colorful journey of life. Her heart is in her beach scenes.
Misun was awarded first place for Top 100 Artists in San Diego in March, 2016.
Adelman Fine Art represents Misun Holdorf in San Diego, California.
