Adrienne Wannamaker
“The discipline of creating art happens consistently each day. The process for creating art, however, is quite different; start, stop, flow, can’t stop, leave, flow, work all night, inspiration, start, come back with fresh eyes…
It fills me with excitement, empowers me and the resulting images are always satisfying.
My Inspiration
My inspiration comes from what makes my eyes happy.
In my artistic journey and travels, I have found myself constantly drawn to the mesmerizing beauty of aerial views and landscapes. The way that nature unfolds beneath us when seen from above is a sight that never fails to captivate me. This fascination has been the driving force behind my art, as I strive to recreate and share the awe-inspiring essence of these vistas through my unique artistic style.
1. The Allure of Aerial Views:
Aerial views offer a unique perspective that allows us to see the world from a different vantage point. It is as if we are granted the ability to soar above the earth, witnessing the intricate patterns and interconnections of nature below. Through my art, I aim to convey the sense of liberation and wonder that this perspective evokes, inviting viewers to experience the thrill of flight and exploration.
2. The Majestic Beauty of Landscapes:
Landscapes have always been a source of inspiration for artists, and I am no exception. Whether it’s the rolling hills, vast deserts, or serene coastlines, landscapes carry a remarkable ability to evoke a range of emotions within us. By capturing the grandeur and tranquility of these scenes in my artwork, I hope to transport viewers to these serene and magical places, allowing them to momentarily escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
3. Colors and Textures:
One of the primary elements I focus on in my art is the vibrant and diverse palette found in aerial views and landscapes. The rich array of colors – from the vivid blues of oceans and lakes to the lush greens of forests and fields – serve as a visual feast for the eyes. Additionally, I experiment with various textures, employing techniques such as layering, brushstrokes, and mixed media to recreate the tactile qualities of the natural world.
4. Emotions and Connections:
My art seeks to evoke a sense of connection and emotional resonance with the natural world. By immersing viewers in my aerial-inspired pieces, I hope to awaken their own personal memories, experiences, and emotions associated with landscapes. Through this connection, I aim to ignite a sense of appreciation and responsibility towards the preservation of our planet’s beauty.
Through my art, I strive to share the awe-inspiring beauty of aerial views and landscapes with the world. By capturing the essence of these vistas, I aim to transport viewers to new heights and provide them with a renewed appreciation for the natural wonders that surround us. Ultimately, my goal is to inspire a sense of connection, respect, and stewardship for our planet’s landscapes, urging viewers to cherish and protect these remarkable gifts for future generations.
My Work
Having dedicated myself to the world of art since 1980 through education, advertising, architectural finishes and products and now fine art as of 2015, I have had the opportunity to refine my craft and develop a unique visual language.
I have participated in numerous exhibitions, both solo and group shows, and my works have been well-received by art enthusiasts and collectors alike through galleries. I am always delighted to connect with those who have my art in their lives.
My work has sold predominantly on the West Coast and Hawaii, although I have sold pieces internationally in Japan, Russia and several countries in Europe including the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, and France.
My work is original art. I have created multiple pieces of work on a commission basis. If you would like to learn more about me or my work, please contact Adelman Fine Art.” ~Adrienne Wannamaker
