This piece came through on a calm coastal day, where the horizon blurred into a soft sky and the wildflowers danced without needing to be seen. I wasn’t painting a view, I was painting a breath. That gentle pause when the sea quiets, the air warms, and everything blooms just a little closer to stillness.
Layered in creamy impasto, the blooms stretch in soft blush, pale gold, and silvery lavender. The light moves across the canvas in hush-toned sweeps, capturing the hush and shimmer of a coastal morning.
This is for the collector who feels the ocean even when they can’t see it, who understands that presence doesn’t always arrive with fanfare. Sometimes, it just… settles in.

Painted with only a palette knife, this work is rich with layered texture, depth, and emotion. Each knife stroke holds light, movement, and memory, inviting the viewer to step into the wild and remember what it feels like to breathe from the edge.
