"Since February 24 I have written a message 'How are you?' thousands of times to hundreds of people. All my messengers are full of these words and they mean only one thing: I love you, I can write to you = I'm alive!
Until the war began, we could not even imagine a horror of this magnitude in the 21st century in the center of Europe.
We write each other thousands of words of support, words of love, we wish each other peace, security and possibility to return home.
The most terrible messages that go unanswered because the person on the other side can no longer write anything…
My fish in the painting swims nowhere, taking with it the image of her destroyed house and the only thing that saves her is a sea of words of support and love.
I wrote in the background the words that we all have been writing to each other for a month and which mean "I love you!"
Are you ok?
Are you safe?
Do u need money?
Where are you?
How are you? How are you...how are you...
Every day, hundreds of "How are you" 's...and the heart stops if the answer is delayed, even for a minute.
When I've written these words around fish I've started to cry...so much pain and so much love since February, 24." ~Daria Zaseda
