Paul Kauffman
Paul Kauffman is a Southern California-based fine artist whose evocative paintings explore the dynamic interplay between wild energy and serene grounding. His formative years were uniquely shaped by contrasting experiences, studying for six years in a Catholic seminary and spending summers working with his family’s carnival. This duality deeply influences his artistic vision, as he seeks to balance the sacred and the profane within his work. Kauffmanpursued his passion for art at Gonzaga University and later at Loyola Marymount University, where he majored in Fine Arts. He dedicated eight years to teaching art in the Los Angeles Parochial School System and has conducted painting workshops in San Diego County and Las Cruces, New Mexico. His paintings have been showcased in galleries across Los Angeles, Laguna Beach, La Jolla, and Santa Fe, and are part of esteemed collections, including those of Mathew Strauss and Henry Haimsohn. Kauffman‘s work invites viewers into a contemplative space, reflecting his journey of harmonizing contrasting forces through expressive brushstrokes and layered compositions.
Adelman Fine Art is pleased to represent Paul Kauffman and share his talent with collectors worldwide.
