Katya Saab considers her artwork to be small pieces of the huge puzzle of life and thoughts. She creates powerful and bold pieces of art, full of happiness, adventure, freedom, strength, joy, and energy. Her work involves a layered, process-based approach, using multiple techniques, materials, and media to achieve the vibrant color contrasts and textures. She balances the abstract compositions with simple, clean lines and shapes. She aspires to awaken sleeping souls through reflection, dedication and passion.

“The absence of tangibility, the ability to grow through every moment that passes, the colors of the nature, landscapes and sunsets, the magic of the family, love and faith; all inspires me to paint. Life is too short and laughter is what makes the world go around.” Katya celebrates her Mexican heritage and credits her family for her passion for creativity.
