Dad, I’m Coming Home

"For me personally, 'Dad, I'm Coming Home' dives head first into my father's suicide and juxtaposes neutral and desaturated backgrounds with bold and bright foregrounds that span a spectrum of saturation, reflecting upon me finding myself in the darkness. On a parallel level, I wanted to create something to honor our LGBTQ community during Pride week in San Diego, specifically shining a light on their respective journeys to finding their colors, whatever they may be, in the darkness." ~ Michael Carini
