"Recycled art created from the remnants of my palettes and reflecting the simple & unintentional beauties of life, the 'Beautiful Accidents' collection is based upon the Japanese aesthetic concepts of wabi-sabi and shibui. The 'Roots' series from the 'Beautiful Accidents' collection depicts the signature 'Acrylic Alchemy' icon. Some may see a tree, others may see a nerve or synapses firing. This is a generalized form of what I saw flashing in my head after a 2009 assault and batter that put me in the hospital with multiple facial fractures, severe eye trauma, and a concussion.
