-A $5,000 deposit is taken via this transaction, which secures you a spot on Iris' timeline. We will reach out promptly to discuss your idea. For a commission, typically clients will suggest a subject, and palette preferences. Once the idea is approved by Iris, she will provide a digital rendering for the client. Upon client approval of the rendering, the request is placed in the commission line, which is currently about 6 months. The commission can be canceled prior to, during, or after the painting is finished either by Iris or the client, and the deposit returned. Art is very personal and subjective for both the client(s) and the artist, so in the rare event that a commissioned artwork is not claimed, it will be released to the open market.
