Pine Needles in Snow
**SOLD**
Pine Needles in Snow is an original finger painting by Iris Scott. Available exclusively through Adelman Fine Art Gallery in San Diego, California.
"I live in Brooklyn, the epitome of a concrete jungle. Trees are noticeably absent from my neighborhood which is settled in the heart of an industrial zone. For someone who grew up in the Pacific Northwest, the land of evergreen trees and dense foliage, this is a rough transition. Luckily I have friends in Jackson Hole Wyoming, and about once a year I get to fly away like a little snowbird to the picturesque West. On a walk, the group of us took, I spied this scene. It was late afternoon light, the snow was blue, and pine needs left skirts of red at the base of their trunks like the skirts of a Christmas tree." ~Iris Scott
