About the Artist
Utah-based artist Heather Olsen honed her skills in classical realism at the Bridge Academy of Art and the Hein Academy of Art, where she studied for four years. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Utah in 2015. Since then, Heather has gained recognition as an exhibiting artist, showcasing her work in both private and public collections across the country.
Her talent and hard work have been recognized with several awards, including being named Art Battle Champion in 2020 and 2022, earning Best of Show in the 2020 online exhibition “Created in Isolation”, and awarded finalist for the The Portrait Society member’s only competition in 2022. Heather has also been sought after for her commissioned paintings, including “Together We Can Do This”, which was commissioned by Intermountain Healthcare and can be found hanging in medical facilities worldwide, as well as portraits of several Utah Governors and local legislative officials.
While Heather enjoys painting a range of subjects, her true passion lies in capturing the personality and emotion of animals and people. As a lifelong animal lover, she strives to showcase the beautiful souls of animals with the same integrity and respect as her figurative works.
Adelman Fine Art is pleased to represent Heather Olsen and share her talent with collectors worldwide.
