Norman Müller
Norman Müller is a contemporary abstract artist whose bold, layered compositions reflect a deep engagement with color, texture, and form. Born in Mexico City in 1962 and now based in San Diego, Müller draws inspiration from architectural foundations, the urban landscape, and the techniques of both Old Masters and modern icons such as Gerhard Richter and Rothko.
His distinctive process involves the use of large palette knives, sponges, and spatulas to apply paint in expressive layers—often beginning with primary colors—to build depth and achieve visual balance. The result is a body of work that feels both powerful and free, with a strong emphasis on movement and deconstruction.
Müller’s work has been exhibited in galleries across Mexico and the United States, including Chase Contemporary in New York, L&G Projects in La Jolla, and Picci Fine Arts in Mexico City.
Adelman Fine Art is pleased to represent Norman Müller and share his talent with collectors worldwide.
